MACALLAN DOUBLE CASK 18 YEAR OLD

Launched in 2020, Macallan 18yo Double Cask (not to be confused with the 18yo Triple Cask) is matured in two types of sherry-seasoned oak casks, American and European oak, both of which were seasoned with Oloroso sherry. Naturally coloured and bottled at 43%.

TASTING NOTES:

Nose: Dried fruit, ginger and toffee. Rich orange with hints of clove and nutmeg.

Palate: Rich raisin and sultana with notes of caramel, vanilla and ginger, balanced by wood spice and zesty citrus.

Finish: Warm oak spice with ginger, turning to sweet orange.
