The now historic wine is single-handedly responsible for launching the Super Tuscan movement and remains one of the most sought-after wines in the world. Marchese Nicolò Incisa della Rocchetta continues the decades of tradition today at Tenuta San Guido, which is considered by many to be the birthplace of Tuscan Cabernet.
The Sassicaia Bolgheri Sassicaia 1995 from Tenuta San Guido is a Super Tuscan wine made primarily from Cabernet Sauvignon (85%) with a small percentage of Cabernet Franc (15%). It comes from the Bolgheri region of Tuscany, the birthplace of the Super Tuscan movement.
