Groot Constantia Grand Constance is a historic and iconic dessert wine made from 100% Muscat de Frontignan, blending both white and red muscat varieties. This wine is crafted from late-harvested, sun-ripened Muscat berries, fermented on the skins for about a week, and then matured in oak barrels for 24 months to achieve depth and richness. The residual sugar is high (for example, 2015 vintage ~180 g/L), balanced by fresh, natural acidity.
