Welcome to the Gincident website.
Please take a moment to read these online shopping terms and conditions, including Gincident’s policies (collectively the “Terms”), to understand how they apply to you, the customer, and your use of Gincident’s website and any Gincident.co.za products that you may order online. These terms apply to all purchases made online from the website.
Please read these terms carefully and ensure you understand them.
Use of and/or registration of the website will constitute your agreement to comply with these terms. Some of these provisions may restrict your rights and confer obligations on you by your agreement to these terms. You agree to pay special attention to these clauses.

Online Registration
Registration as a purchaser on the website is free and does not oblige you to purchase anything. You must create an account and register with us before placing your first order online. Please register and create your account here.
Registration and/or use of Gincident’s website constitutes your acceptance and agreement to be bound by the terms of Gincident’s website.
To register, you need to provide personal information. Gincident’s Privacy Policy protects all personal information.
When registering with us, you will be required to provide an email address and a password which will be your username and password for the website. Please keep your password private, as Gincident.co.za accepts no liability for any damages suffered or losses incurred from your account use.
You must enter your username and password each time you visit the Gincident.co.za website.
To amend any registration particulars, please click on “My Account”, where you can edit your details. When registering as a purchaser, you must provide Gincident with complete and accurate information about yourself. By doing so, you warrant that the information provided is correct.
Upon acceptance of your registration, you will receive an email confirmation regarding the registration. Transmission times depend on your Internet Service Provider (ISP) but is less than 10 (ten) minutes to receive the email confirmation. If you do not receive the email confirmation, you should contact us.

We have made every effort to display the products on the website as accurately as possible, including:

Features and descriptions that pertain to the product.
The actual product delivered may be subject to variations in appearance, as product packaging may differ over time. The customer’s responsibility is to ensure that the product they ordered is correct and that the product description will always overrule any related images when resolving a dispute about a product.
As the actual colours you see will depend on your computer’s monitor, Gincident.co.za cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will be accurate.
Country of Domicile
This website follows South African laws. Gincident.co.za chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under customer service and support, dispute resolution, and delivery of goods.
Inadvertent and Obvious Errors
Gincident.co.za takes precautions to provide the correct information on the website. If we identify an inadvertent and evident error in the price/product description, image, or any other content Gincident.co.za is not obligated to provide the affected product or service.
Gincident.co.za will make every effort to contact or alert you of the error.
In such circumstances, you may cancel the purchase with a full refund for the amount paid.
Event and Party Delivery
Event and party deliveries 20km outside Pretoria will be subject to a delivery charge and quoted accordingly.

Product Reviews
By submitting product reviews to Gincident.co.za, you represent and warrant that:
You understand you are participating in a public forum and that your submitted content and other personal information will be available to all other users, the online community, and potentially third-party websites.
When you submit a review, you agree to the following:
All review(s) submitted are accurate.
Your review is original and created by you.
You are a resident of South Africa and at least 18 (eighteen) years of age.
You are currently a bona fide user of the Gincident.co.za product(s) mentioned in your review.
You are not an employee of Gincident, nor do you work for an affiliate or agency of Gincident.co.za hired by Gincident to promote and/or sell Gincident.co.za products.
The statements you make in your review reflect your honest opinion and experience with the Gincident.co.za product(s) you are reviewing.
If your review refers to a potential fault of the item you received, not the brand in general, Gincident’s Customer Service team will be in touch to resolve it with you directly. In this instance, we will not publish your review.
Gincident.co.za does not publish reviews for products not purchased from us directly (i.e., products purchased from other retailers and/or in other countries).

If you would like to submit a review for a particular product on www.gincident.co.za, please take note of the following guidelines:

Provide specific details about what you liked and did not like about the product.
Remember that the purpose of submitting a product review is to provide insight to other customers who are considering purchasing the item.
Do not use offensive/vulgar language.
Do not disclose personal information.
You agree that you shall not upload any reviews that include or reference one or more of the following:
Information that is false, inaccurate, or misleading.
Offensive, profane, vulgar, obscene, or inappropriate language or visuals.
Defamatory, libellous, or slanderous content.
Content that infringes any third-party’s copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret, right of publicity, right of privacy, moral right, and/or any other applicable personal or proprietary rights.
Content that violates any law, statute, ordinance, or regulation.
Content that engages in encourages, advocates, or provides instructions for conduct that would constitute a criminal or civil offence under any law, statute, ordinance, or regulation.
Content that is, or may be, hate speech, whether directed at an individual or group, or that is otherwise unlawfully threatening or unlawfully harassing to any individual, partnership, corporation, or political body.
Reviews must be about the product. Reviews containing the following will not be published:
Personal information, details about customer service or specials, advertisements or links, and references to other companies/brands/products.
Content that includes third-party websites, addresses, email addresses, contact information, or phone numbers.
Content that is a form of phishing and contains unsolicited or unauthorised advertising, promotional materials, junk mail, spam, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or any other form of solicitation.
Content that contains any computer viruses, worms, or other potentially damaging computer programs or files.
Why has my product review not been published?
We assess product ratings and reviews on www.gincident.co.za before they are published. The evaluation can take up to two working days. We reserve the right to reject your review if it does not meet our review guidelines.
What does it mean to post anonymously?
If you select to post your product rating and review anonymously, we omit your name on the site in association with that review. If you do not choose to post anonymously, we will post your name and surname alongside your rating or review on the product detail page.
Orders and Payment
Orders placed online constitute your offer to purchase subject to these terms.
Upon receipt of your order, we will send you an email describing what you have ordered. These communications confirm we have received your order but do not represent any acceptance of your offer to purchase products from us. Acceptance of a customer’s order is only completed on delivery.
We are not legally obligated to provide the products during the offer process.
Payment Options Accepted:
Online payments are made via Peach Payments.
Payment may be made via Visa and MasterCard.
Delivery will not happen until proof of payment has been received and the funds have cleared into our bank account.
Regarding credit card information and security, Peach Payments acquires all credit card transactions for Gincident, which protects you, the client, with the most up-to-date and secure online credit card processing system.
Customer details separate from card details.
Customer details will be stored separately from card details. The client enters card details on Peach Payments’s site. For more detail on Peach Payments, refer to www.peachpayments.com.
Cancellation
If you want to cancel an order, contact Gincident’s Customer Services Centre at (012) 460 – 7518.
You can only cancel orders by midnight on the day before the delivery date.
Gincident reserves the right not to refund the delivery of any late cancellations.
If you cancel your payment for any reason, or if your payment method should cease to be valid for whatever reason, you will nevertheless be bound to pay the entire purchase price, including all costs incurred by us relating to the recovery thereof.
Without prejudice to any rights or remedies in law, Gincident.co.za reserves the right to cancel any sale and/or registration if you have breached any of the terms.
Gincident.co.za reserves the right to cancel a paid order. That may occur if stock is insufficient, incorrect information displayed or the quality of the products ordered does not meet our standards. Should this happen, you will receive a full refund with no deductions.
Refunds will take 7-10 working days.
Risk and Ownership
Risk in use of products purchased via Gincident.co.za will fall to you with the acceptance of the products when delivered to you or your authorised representatives.
Gincident.co.za will retain ownership of the products until payment.
