Sourced from meticulously managed vineyard blocks in the Jonkershoek Valley, this wine pays homage to its historic roots while embracing modern winemaking finesse. Matured for 15 months in a combination of new and second-fill French oak, it avoids the heavy “jamminess” often associated with the grape. Instead, it offers a medium-to-full-bodied profile characterised by its silky texture, refined tannins, and a distinctive floral-meets-fruit aromatic complexity that has made it a favourite for over six decades.
