Diemersdal Merlot is made on the storied Diemersdal Wine Estate in the Durbanville Valley, where cool Atlantic breezes and well-drained soils bring finesse and vibrancy to the fruit. The wine is matured for around 10–16 months (some sources say 12–16 months) in seasoned French oak barrels to build structure without overpowering the Merlot’s inherent elegance.
