It’s made from traditional Portuguese varieties, including Touriga Nacional, Tinta Barocca, Tinta Amarela, and Souzao, which thrive in De Krans’s Klein Karoo terroir. The wine is matured for between six months and three years in oak, developing richness while retaining its youthful fruit intensity.
