Glenmorangie Nectar d'Or (French for golden nectar) was first matured in American oak bourbon casks before being finished in wine casks from Sauternes, a wine-growing region of France. This revised packaging released in 2019, also saw the removal of the age-statement. Non-chillfiltered and bottled at 46%. Nose: Lemon tart emerges alongside fresh vanilla pods, lime and orange zest. Sultanas and dates follow, laced with ginger, coconut and a hint of toasted oak. TASTING NOTES: Palate: Silken textures bring sumptuous layers of crème caramel and warming gingerbread.
