The KWV Roodeberg is more than a wine; it is a legendary South African heritage blend. While the exact composition is a closely guarded secret, it typically leads with Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, and Merlot, with a subtle touch of Pinotage to ground it in its Cape roots. Sourced from the finest vineyards across the Western Cape, the components are matured separately in French oak for 12 to 18 months before being expertly blended. It is a medium-to-full-bodied red that epitomises balance—offering a sophisticated tapestry of fruit, spice, and structure that has made it a perennial favourite for generations.
